Beacon of Light Institute for Veterans Hosts “No Hero Left Behind” Fundraiser Events in Darlington and Florence
Darlington, SC – September 2025 – The Beacon of Light Institute for Veterans (BOLV) successfully hosted two “No Hero Left Behind” fundraiser events on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Piggly Wiggly in Darlington, South Carolina, and on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Walmart on David McLeod Boulevard in Florence, South Carolina.
The events aimed to raise awareness and support for veterans, first responders, and their families. All proceeds collected during the fundraisers will be dedicated to providing meals and essential support for these local heroes.
BOLV extends special appreciation to Sonic at 2421 W. Palmetto Street, Florence, for their generous donation of free ice, which helped sustain the events. Gratitude is also extended to every community member who contributed through donations, volunteerism, and encouragement.
Looking ahead, BOLV is preparing for its next food giveaway, which will incorporate additional services for underserved populations, as well as support for the general public. Event details will be released soon.
